:: Homestyle Magazine ::

My love affair with the glossy pages of magazines started when I was about 6 months old – my little gums would mauled page after page – so the story goes. Of course as I got older I realised there was so much more to them – photographs, beautiful photographs of fashion, far off places and a life I could only dream of. I was a teenager with a serious taste for high fashion, beauty and anything I couldn’t afford! I even had to get an after-school job to service my addiction to Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, Marie Claire, etc.

It was a costly habit but I can happily say that my love of magazines and the photographs inside of them is what nurtured and inspired me into the world of photography.

As an adult the addiction has matured – the high fashion magazines have been replaced with the occasional lifestyle magazines – Living ETC, Australian Home, Vogue Living, and New Zealand’s very own Homestyle .

Our Stellar association with this great magazine began in Feb/Mar issue last year where I shot the front cover, a house feature, design store feature and I got a contributors blurb (tick- another off the bucket list!) – I have six copies of this edition sitting around the house. Now a year later and I’m sitting looking at the fourth issue featuring Stellar Photography work!
