You gotta love blue! and green and champagne! all the stunning colours that made up the wedding day of Rachel and Reuben early this year.

This wonderful Invercargill-couple bought there family and friends together in Queenstown to celebrate their wedding. The outside ceremony was held at Trelawn Place were the rain clouds threatened but ultimately the sunshine won! We then went for a whirlwind tour of the Arrowtown basin to eventually end up at The Winehouse and Kitchen for their reception.

Their whole day was beautiful and an absolute pleasure to photograph! thanks so much to you both and your wedding party!

Rochelle and Jono first came to Stellar on the advice of their best man and matron of honour. Stellar Photography had captured theirwedding a year earlier and they loved what we had done and thought we would be a great match with Rochelle and Jono – how right they were!

A trip over to Dunedin is always an exciting time … my old uni town and the place where Nick got his first semi professional theatre gig! Throw in the wedding of two of the happiest people in the world and we are away rocking!

Gold Coast couple Katie and Daniel came home to Dunedin to celebrate their wedding with family and friends. Katie’s dad had put a lot of time, energy and love into creating a garden and pond at his home for the couple to get married next to – unfortuantely the weather decided something quiet different. At least all the guests got to stand around the pond and watched Katie come down the garden path but not too much later we all had to head back up the garden path to get out the rain. It didn’t put a dampener on things at all for this magic couple and we headed away to an alleyway and derelict building to get their location photos. Between us, them and their wedding party it was a non-stop laughfest! PERFECT!

Part of what I love about a couples big day is the wedding party! Generally those standing next to the couple are quite a bit more relaxed than they actually are.  The humour and fun that they can bring can change the energy during a photo shoot to such an extent that the results can be quite unexpected!!!  Rachael, Brent and there wedding party were a complete laugh and delight to shoot! Thanks to you all for a classic day!
